Devour old films, new films, music, books, paintings, photographs, poems, dreams, random conversations, architecture, bridges, street signs, trees, clouds, bodies of water, light and shadows. Select only things to steal from that speak directly to your soul. If you do this, your work (and theft) will be authentic.

Authenticity is invaluable; originality is non-existent.

And don’t bother concealing your thievery – celebrate it if you feel like it. In any case, always remember what Jean-Luc Godard said: “It’s not where you take things from – it’s where you take them to.”

FRESH START!

I love the expression “a fresh start”. I feel like I´m in a period like that now.. New job, right motivation and more focus on the right things. So to be extra ready for the new start next week. I cleaned my room, washed and organized my clothes, going up early in the morning, eating more healthy food and less alcohol… I`M READY!!!!!!

Anna Wintour

Anna Wintour is the daughter of Charles Wintour, former Editor of the Evening Standard. She started her career in 1970, working in the fashion department at Harpers & Queen in London. Six years later, she joined its sister New York publication Harper’s Bazaar as its Fashion Editor. After a stint as Senior Editor at New York magazine, controlling the title’s fashion and lifestyle coverage, Wintour was named Creative Director of American Vogue in 1983. British Vogue hired her back as Editor in Chief for two years. In 1988, she rejoined American Vogue as Editor-in-Chief and in that capacity, has helped raise over $10 million for AIDS charities since 1990.
